I am a little disappointed in the framrates being between 30 and 60. Dante's Inferno is at 60 FPS which allows an extremely smooth visual and gameplay. I really thought GoW3 was going to be 60fps.
But, this just goes to show us that great games don't need to be 1080p all the time. I guess MS was right when they said that 720 was the optimal resolution for performance. GoW3 is going to be a great game regardless of resolution and fps.

Actually I like that the 360 controller has battery packs. When my controller is dieing, I just quickly swap the pack and I am all set with a fully charged controller.
When my PS3 controller dies, I have to hook it up to the cord that came with the console and is only like 4 ft. Which makes gaming very uncomfortable since I now have to sit closer to the TV.

What I got from Man of the Year`s comment is that 360 owners also bought a PS3 now that they are cheaper and use them mainly as a blu-ray player but also as a gaming machine for those exclusives that would interest them.

So Sony was smart enough to a) Later apply the control update to Lair and b) To make the use of motion controls in games optional...which they no longer support in current games. Meanwhile you imply that MS is not smart enough to set up games to give the user the option to enable/disable the motion option?

It looks like Sony made the right move with the Slim and the price-cut. Sony has been the business long enough to know when to make the right moves and the proof is in the sales. Good Job Sony.

You may be right, but it`s a first day buy for me regardless.
I think it will be used for more than just gaming. Plenty of videos have shown other aspects where it can be utilized. Imagine scrolling through movies to decide which movie to watch, all with a flick of the hand. Just simple thinks like that where a controller is no longer needed.
